Man builds innovative bicycle to sanitize roads in northeastern India
A man in northeastern India's Assam has designed and built a bicycle that sanitizes streets to combat viruses in the area.
Abhijit Dowarah from Sivasagar came up with the device during the country's coronavirus lockdown.
A switchboard controls the functions of the bike which sprays disinfectant either side of the rear wheel.
The cycle also features lights on the front and the back of the vehicle. A container can be seen attached to the back of the bicycle which contains the disinfectant spray.
Dowrah has named his invention the V-Fighter IV and he has been interested in building items out of waste since he was 6 years old.
This footage was filmed on June 20.
