Street hawker survives amazing accident when bus hits him
Incident from Bhiwandi in Maharashtra, India, on January 2. A bus owned by Thane Municipal Transport hit a banana seller who was trying to squeeze through the narrow service road below a flyover. The rear end of the bus hit the cart and destroyed it completely. It also threw the man in the air who fell on two bikes but survived amazingly. Police said the man sustained minor injuries. Local residents said such accidents were common as many roads in the city were being repaired without proper planning forcing commuters to take unnecessary risks.
