Head of PMI Bukittinggi Headquarters, Ahmad Jais, said the cat owner knew his cat, Ciko, was missing since Saturday (February 6) afternoon.
The owner heard the sound of a cat from the well, then tried to help but failed.
In the morning the next day the owner reported and asked for evacuation assistance to PMI Bukittinggi officers.
Five personnel were deployed during the cat rescue operation.
Officers are seen descending into the bottom of the well using a rope, then putting the cat in a sack.
It is then brought to the surface of the well in a safe condition, Ciko was then handed over to its owner to dry and feed.
"Are you feeling better now, Ciko?" Asks one rescue officer.
