Two bulls fell into a 30-feet-deep open well in central India's Madhya Pradesh on April 2 before being rescued by locals.

Video captured in Khadpura village, located in the Damoh district, shows anxious locals gathered around the well. A few of them descend into the well by rope and the others lower ropes to tie around the bulls. Then, the locals team up to pull the heavy-looking animals to safety.

Once on safe ground, the animals react to being tied up, resulting in a moment of panic among the onlookers.

The bulls were apparently stranded inside the well for two days. At this point local man Anshul Tiwari, who is associated with a committee dedicated to the welfare of bulls and cows, arrived at the scene to rescue the animals.

According to Newsflare sources, the animals were given a medical checkup before being taken to Hatta, 30km from the well, where they were released into the wild.
