Forest officials rescued a leopardess from a cement pipeline in northern India's Uttarakhand on April 15.

The incident took place in Raipur in Dehradun district, as video shows forest officials attempting to rescue the female leopard in broad daylight in a residential area, as crowds of local residents gathered to watch.

The officials used a rod to coax the leopard out of the concrete pipe, before using a net to trap her long enough to be moved into a cage for transportation and release into the wild.

Following this, the officials use a stick-like object to poke the creature out of the concrete pipeline. However, after a while, they manage to pull the mammal out of the region and confine her inside a cage using a net. Meanwhile, locals begin to gather near the spot to witness and behold the occurrence.

A team of forest officials, led by Ravi Joshi, managed to rescue a female leopard from a residential area during the daytime. Following this, they rescued the creature and confined her inside a cage while she glanced at the onlookers in the region.
