A quite unusual fight between two animals was staged in northern India's Uttar Pradesh on July 22. The incident took place in Meerut.

Visuals feature the pet dog growling at a cheeky monkey resting atop the boundary wall of the house. After a while, the pup wiggles its tail and continues to scare the primate off the roof while it gives a terrifying screech and attempts to claw the dog from above the structure. Unbothered by the act, the Labrador barks at it while some of the friends of the simian join to witness the occurrence.

In an open environment, monkeys can win a fight over the powerful jaws of a dog, as these primates have higher stamina and can attack with both their feet and hands, making the brawl quite brutal.
