Two people were killed in Deoghar, India on Monday (April 11) as two cable cars collided mid-air.

Tragically, a man who was near rescue from Indian Air Force helicopters fell to his death while struggling to traverse to the rescue vehicle in high winds.

The rescue mission has been postponed to the morning due to a lack of light.

During the rescue operation unfortunately a man was about to be rescued, holding on to the rope and dangling hundreds of feet above ground , Battling heavy winds, he reached close to the chopper. But just as he is about to be pulled in, the man slipped and fell to his death taking total death toll to 3 . More than dozens are still stranded mid air waiting to be rescued.
