Eight killed after memorial arch collapses due to extreme weather in China
Eight people were killed after a memorial arch collapsed due to strong rain and wind in northern China.
Video filmed in the city of Shijiazhuang in Hebei Province on July 2 shows firefighters rescuing people buried under the collapsed arch.
According to reports, the 12-metre-high memorial arch collapsed onto nine people sheltering from the rain.
Eight people were killed and one person is being treated in hospital and is in stable condition.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
