Devotional thief steals donation box from temple in central India
A thief made sure he said his prayers before stealing a donation box kept at a temple in central India's Madhya Pradesh.
The incident happened at a temple in Sukha village in the Madhotal police station area in Jabalpur district on August 5.
Visuals showed the thief folding hands and praying to the idol of the goddess at the temple before slyly turning back and picking up the donation box kept behind him.
He then proceeds to take it away while exiting the spot. According to the priest of this temple, the thief broke the lock, entered the place of worship and took away a total of three donation boxes. He also stole two big bells and a few other utensils kept in the temple.
Police is now looking for the thief through CCTV footage.
