Tiger enclosure's glass window cracks due to high temperatures in China
A glass window between a tiger's enclosure and a tourist walkway shattered in a zoo in eastern China due to high temperatures.
Video filmed in the city of Jinan in Shandong Province on August 20 shows tourists running past the section of broken glass.
According to reports, the glass window broke because of the high temperatures that reached 30 degrees Celsius.
Zookeepers took the tigers into the cages and evacuated the tourists. No one was injured.
The glass window has been repaired and operations at the zoo were back to normal.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
