CCTV of Indonesia worship places captures luminous objects such as genies sweeping carpets and climbing walls
CCTV inside a place of worship in Indonesia caught the movement of a glowing object such as a genie, while others saw it as a spider.
Footage on August 24 at the mosque in Bukittinggi city shows the first larger luminous object entering the room and then appearing to be sweeping the carpet.
A second, smaller glowing object arrived and slithered across the wall.
Ustaz Yusuf, the caretaker of the place of worship, said that the strange object was first seen by his friend when he passed in front of the CCTV monitor after dawn worship.
"He saw two glowing figures like angels in the mosque. He had time to look into but the figure was invisible unless it was caught on a CCTV camera," Yusuf added.
They then played back the footage and then filmed it with their smartphones to share on social media.
Netizens who commented on the viral video said that the glowing object was a spider passing in front of the CCTV camera, because the spider web was clearly visible.
