A vigilant Railway Protection Force (RPF) cop came to the rescue of a man, who slipped and fell while boarding a moving train in eastern India's West Bengal.

The incident happened at platform number three of Durgapur railway station on November 11.

CCTV footage showed the chilling moment when the man tried to board the moving train but instead, slipped and almost fell into the gap between the vehicle and the platform. The man was reportedly holding a cup of tea while trying to get into the moving train.

AK Roy, the RPF cop who was on duty at the spot, prevented the man from falling into the gap and helped him into the train. It was learnt later that an on-duty officer helped pull the man into the train.
