Passerby uses rope to save drowning stray kitten stuck under pier
A kind passerby used a looped rope to save a drowning stray kitten stuck under a pier in Thailand.
Ray Wong Kwanmuang was taking selfies with the sea in the background when he heard the feline crying in Chanthaburi province on December 2.
He searched for the creature around and saw it clinging to a concrete post where a boat was anchored.
Footage shows how Ray made a loop at the end of a rope which he dangled down to the kitten. The animal then clung onto the rop while being pulled to safety.
Ray said: ‘I was taking pictures when I heard the cat. I had to think of what to do quickly because it might die.'
The cat rescuer how now taken the ginger moggy home with him. He said he will take care of it as a pet.
