Hapless stray dog with head stuck in plastic pipe rescued in Thailand
A hapless stray dog with its head stuck inside a plastic pipe was rescued in Thailand.
The pooch poked its head through the hole in the wall while looking for food in Phuket on December 10.
However, the creature could not pull itself out and was left trapped until villagers found it.
Footage shows rescuers using a chisel and hammer to chip off concrete from the pipe. When the pipe with the dog was removed, they cut it off to free the creature.
Village council officer Sert Thongdee said: ‘We were relieved that someone found the dog right away. When it rains, a puddle builds up on that area so we placed the pipes to drain it.'
