Tourist knocked over by massive wave in amusing beach photo fail
A tourist was swept away by a large wave in an amusing beach fail while posing for pictures.
Footage shows Shiana Mae Burlat standing on the rocky part of the shore and pouting towards her friend recording her when she was battered by the deluge.
Shiana said she was adventurous and attempted to withstand the strong waves bigger than her in Misamis Oriental province, the Philippines on January 13.
However, she accepted she failed because of the strength of the ocean.
She said: ‘My best friend was with me when it happened. I love adventures so I climbed down onto the rocks. I like taking risks.
‘I feel at peace and one with nature doing things like that but it felt satisfying. It makes me feel alive.'
