A man in Indonesia stopped his prayer when he saw a devil's face on a prayer rug.

Footage from Bukittinggi, West Sumatra Province, today (January 27) shows Wahyu Silelo (45) showing dozens of heads with demonic faces surrounding his place of worship and prostration.

In the video, Silelo shows a pair of eyes, a mouth, a turban crowned with a king's head with a devil's face.

"I took the Maghrib prayer at a friend's office. I took the takbir and started to recite the prayer, but when I looked at the place of prostration there was the head of the king of demons. I stopped because my concentration was disturbed, then moved to the carpet next to it," Silelo added.

In the video, we can see that in the middle there is a pattern resembling a devil with a body and big hands.

Previously, a video of a woman claiming to stop praying because she saw a motif on a prayer rug went viral on TikTok. The viral video was first uploaded by the owner of the TikTok account @depiciji.

She admitted that her concentration was disturbed until she stopped praying in the second cycle.

The red prayer mat motif she uses resembles a devil's face complete with horns and claws.
