The search for landslide victims on Serasan Island, Natuna Regency, Riau Islands, has been continuing since the emergency response was declared, from 6 March 2013 to 13 March 2023.
Update day 7, Natuna Landslide Handling. 4 bodies found. Data that died 36 identified, 1 has not been identified. 17 people were declared missing. 5 people were seriously injured. Currently, there are 1,863 evacuees spread across 6 locations in Natuna.
according to the Natuna Police Chief, AKBP Nanang Budi Santosa is currently trying to open access to the road that was buried in the landslide and continues to dig search sector 1 and search sector 2. The Riau Islands Police are also deploying a K9 team to help find victims who are still missing.
