A wooden hut collapsed as Typhoon Haikui floods hit a village in the Philippines on Sunday.

Footage shows muddy torrents sweeping through San Isidro village in Koronadal City, South Cotabato province, on September 3. The churning deluge dismantled a small hut made of wooden poles and iron sheets.

Typhoon Haikui, known locally as Hanna, was still enhancing the southwest monsoon, Philippine weather agency PAGASA said on Monday, September 4.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said two people were killed and more than 400,000 people were affected as Typhoons Haikui and Saola ravaged the tropical country last week.

Typhoon Haikui has made landfall in southeast Taiwan on September 3 afternoon, knocking out power to more than 160,000 households.
