Farmer uncovers stash of coins dating back to Britain's rule over India
A farmer in Lokipar, Madhya Pradesh, uncovered a stash of coins that date back to when Britain ruled India.
Shailendra Dubey was digging a tin shed when he found the pot of coins. Upon inspecting the metal, he discovered that they were made around 1904 and had Queen Victoria on them.
Police and a local archaeology team were informed about the discovery and a team is investigating to see if any other items are at the spot.
