A quick-thinking teacher performed Heimlich manoeuvre to save a choking student in southwestern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Zunyi in Guizhou Province on December 4, shows a boy accidentally swallowing a pen cap during a lesson and attempting to remove tit by himself but to no avail. As he struggled to breathe, he stood up and gestured to the teacher for help.

The teacher, Liu, who was conducting the class, quickly noticed something was amiss and sprang into action. Utilizing the Heimlich manoeuvre, Liu impressively saved the student in just 7 seconds.

Liu then promptly escorted the student to the school's medical room for a check-up, ensuring his well-being before returning to the classroom.
