Housewife screams when snake emerges near her feet
A housewife screamed when a snake appeared and slithered near her feet.
The woman was caught by surprise when the radiated rat snake seemed to appear from out of nowhere while she was preparing food for her dogs in Sakon Nakhon, Thailand, on August 10.
She dropped the tray she was holding and ran outside to call for help.
The housewife's son said: 'No matter how long we waited, the snake never came out of the kitchen. We had to call a wildlife rescue team to deal with it.'
The radiated rat snake is a non-venomous snake species found in Southeast Asia. It is known for its distinctive coloration featuring bold, radiating patterns.
Radiated rat snakes are arboreal and primarily feed on rodents and birds.
