Driver Trapped as Car Flies Off Freeway in Santa Fe Springs, LA, USA

CHP officers from the Santa Fe Spring Station along with the Santa Fe Springs Fire Department responded to a driver trapped underneath his vehicle after flying off the freeway at the 5 Freeway interchange and the 605 Freeway in the city of Santa Fe Springs. After about 30 to 40 minutes, firefighters were able to get the victim from underneath the vehicle and transported him to a local hospital in an unknown condition. Unknown at this time how the crash occurred or if alcohol or speed was a factor. CHP had multiple transition roads closed due to the crash.
