A CHP officer from the Baldwin Park office was leaving Pomona Valley Hospital when he noticed a vehicle come off the freeway and into a building at 160 E. Artesia Street and the westbound 10 Freeway. LACoFD responded to the scene and located a vehicle that crashed into a clinic office with two people trapped inside the wrecked vehicle. Firefighters and paramedics were able to extricate both people from of the vehicle and transported them across the street to Pomona Valley Hospital. Both were  in an unknown condition. Unknown if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash. Pomona PD was on scene and assisting CHP with the investigation. Pomona PD requested the Department of Building and Safety to respond to the scene.
