Two bears squared off in a fight for territory in front of tourists at a Thai national park.

Footage shows the Malayan sun bears meeting each other on the campsite of Kaeng Krachan National Park in Phetchaburi province, Thailand, on July 26.

They faced each other and growled to scare one another until one of them left the area while the second bear stayed.

A tourist said: ‘The two bears confronted and drove each other away.'

The Malayan sun bear, also known as the honey bear, is a bear species found in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia. It is smallest of the bear species, with adults typically standing for only up to five feet.
