A dad burst into tears after being surprised with his dream truck just moments after receiving a toy version.

When Omar Cisneros’ dad Rene was about to turn 60, his only child knew that he had to pull out all the stops for his present.

Heartwarming footage filmed on August 3 shows a laughing Rene open a toy version of his dream vehicle, a Ford Silverado, at home in Van Nuys, California, USA.

Just moments later the 60-year-old opened his real present from Omar, the keys to his very own blue Silverado, forcing his dad to sit down in shock before crying happy tears.

Omar, 31, said: “My dad cried when he got the keys as well as when he saw the truck for the first time.

“He was very surprised and in disbelief through it all but in the end he was very happy.

“He’s always loved the Silverado trucks but he hasn’t had a new vehicle in 31 years. He could have bought one for himself at any time but he chose to give me and my mom everything we could ever want.

“It felt very accomplishing being able to give something back to my dad to show him that I appreciated everything’s he’s ever done for me it was very rewarding.”
