Cricketers practice running between wickets by sprinting across pedestrian crossing before red light shows
A trio of cricketers practiced running between wickets by sprinting across a pedestrian crossing before the red light shows.
Ryan Hughes, Duke Miller and Dylan Anderson of Carlisle Park Vikings in Victoria, Australia, had a unique forfeit after incurring a fine.
Hilarious footage – which has been viewed more than 2.3million times – shows the three of them waiting for the man to turn green at the side of a road.
As soon as they got the green light, the lads sprinted to one side of the road before turning back and making it back before the lights turned red again.
Aaron Straughair, president of Carlisle Park Vikings, said: “We went down and watched it live and we loved it and thought it was a bit of fun.
“We didn't realise it would go viral and since then it has seriously been a conversation starter at our club and outside our club.
“We opted out of a monetary fine for stuff ups so we decided this would boost morale and generate a bit of fun between the lads.”
