A wild boar unexpectedly burst into the waiting hall of a railway station, sending passengers into a frenzy in southern China.

The terrifying incident was filmed in Ganzhou City in Jiangxi Province on August 12.

Eyewitnesses reported that the boar appeared seemingly out of nowhere, charging through the hall and emitting deep growls as it ran amok.

Passengers, caught off guard, were terrified and quickly sought shelter. In response, station staff immediately activated an emergency plan, beginning to evacuate passengers while simultaneously attempting to drive the boar away.

Recognising the need for professional assistance, they also called in the fire department.

Firefighters promptly arrived on the scene, equipped with protective gear and tools such as capture forks and ropes to subdue the boar. However, the animal, clearly agitated, resisted fiercely.

During the intense struggle, the boar accidentally smashed through a tempered glass door in the waiting hall, eventually escaping the station.

Given the proximity of the high-speed rail station to the wilderness, firefighters pursued the boar until they were able to drive it back into an uninhabited forested area, ensuring the safety of both passengers and the animal.

Thanks to the swift and effective response from station staff and the local fire department, no one was injured.
