A minibus was involved in a collision with a wall and subsequently overturned on the roadside in Indonesia.

Closed-circuit television footage from a commercial establishment in the Agam district of West Sumatra province depicts a single vehicular accident that was caused by a driver losing control of the vehicle due to drowsiness.

The video depicts a minibus traversing the roadside at a high rate of speed on Sunday, August 18, 2024.

At a bend in the road, the vehicle is observed departing from the roadway and crossing the white line at the edge of the road, subsequently colliding with a wall and ultimately overturning with the front of the vehicle rendered inoperable.

Local residents arrived on the scene to provide assistance. One individual, who had observed the incident, stated that the driver indicated that he was experiencing fatigue and was searching for a suitable location to rest. However, due to the extent of his exhaustion, he briefly lost consciousness, resulting in a loss of control over the vehicle he was operating.

"Two individuals were present in the vehicle at the time of the incident: the driver and the proprietor of the minibus. Despite the traumatic circumstances, neither individual sustained any significant injuries," stated Basa Andi, a local resident.

Both victims were transported to a medical facility for treatment of their injuries, which were deemed to be minor.
