Around 7:40 am on September 13, a severe flash explosion occurred due to a liquefied gas cylinder leak in a shop below the Jindi Jiayuan residential complex in Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province. The incident caused significant damage to the shop and injured four people.

Surveillance footage shows a sudden loud explosion from within the shop, followed by thick smoke and debris flying into the street.

The explosion severely damaged the shop, leaving the area in ruins with only the framework of the building remaining. The blast wave also affected nearby shops and residences, shattering multiple windows.

Following the accident, local fire and medical services quickly arrived at the scene for rescue efforts.

The Dashiqiao City Emergency Management Bureau has launched an investigation into the cause of the accident. Preliminary findings suggest the incident was triggered by a flash explosion resulting from a liquefied gas cylinder leak.
