Crowd of devotees gathered in Prayagraj on Kartik Purnima, taking a dip of faith in Ganga , Northern India
On 15 November, Friday Prayagraj( Uttarpradesh), On the full moon day of Kartik month, A huge crowd of devotees reached Sangam Beach, Dashashwamedh Ghat, Ramghat and Baluaghat and other ghats for bathing and donations. Devotees started taking a dip in the ghats from early morning to seek blessings.
While invoking the Sun God and worshiping Lord Vishnu, the devotees, after taking bath, gave donations to the pilgrim priests and also donated lamps at the ghats. This sequence continued continuously till ten in the morning.
Dev Diwali is also celebrated on Purnima, so after morning bath and donation, lamp donation will also be organized in homes in the evening.
