Rescue team retrieves stranded dog on mountains
This is the dramatic moment a rescue team retrieved a stranded dog from the mountains.
The black-and-white pooch was stuck in the rugged terrain of La Lancha, Anduar, in Jaen, Spain.
This prompted the dog's owner to contact the Guardia Civil for assistance in finding the hapless canine.
Footage shows officers descending a steep and hazardous rocky path to locate and save the frightened animal in the middle of the night.
After a laborious mission, they successfully retrieved the dog and reunited it with its owners.
Local media reported that the dog did not sustain any serious injuries from the incident.
