This is the heartwarming moment a rescue team saved a stray dog stuck in a well.

A homeowner heard the poor black-and-white pooch barking and whimpering inside the pit, prompting them to call for help retrieving the canine in Buriram, Thailand, on November 18.

Footage shows two men from the Siam Buriram Rescue Team holding their colleague upside down to grab the animal inside the hole.

Upon reaching the dog, the man immediately held it by the neck, and his team lifted them both up.

The seemingly tired canine can be seen panting and remaining seated on the grass as the rescuer pats him.

Local reports said that the animal did not sustain any serious injuries from the incident.

Dogs can be curious and may lean into open wells or water, causing them to accidentally fall inside.
