Hero horse rider wades into water to rescue drowning man
This is the dramatic moment a heroic horse rider waded into the water to rescue a drowning man.
Su Shaogao and horseman Yi Libai spotted the hapless holidaymaker struggling to swim in the Hanjiang River in Hubei, China, on February 4.
Upon seeing this, Su Shaogao immediately dove into the water, while Yi Libai rode Bai Long, his seven-year-old white horse, to rescue the victim.
Footage shows the horse walking into the water before eventually swimming towards the drowning vacationer.
After successfully grabbing the man by the hand, Yi Libai commanded the hoofed creature to swim to the riverbank, while Su Shaogao assisted in keeping the man's head above water.
The rescuers can be seen heading to the bank after securing the man's arms, while Liu Hangzhou, an athlete, swam towards them to assist.
They managed to retrieve the man, and he reportedly did not sustain any injuries from the incident.
