A mob of angry Russians attacked a lone Australian tourist in a street in Bali, Indonesia.

The draft-dodging Bolshies were seen advancing towards the Aussie who was alone at a bar and nightclub strip in Denpasar.

Footage shows a muscular Russkie wearing only short pants and making boxing stances to taunt the other foreigner on the February 12 evening.

The topless man dashed towards the Aussie who was backing away before he punched his face several times.

He was taller and bulkier than the Australian who tried to fight him off but fell toppled backwards on a parked motorcycle.

Chaos ensued when other Russians in the group joined in attacking the Australian, who was downed on the ground.

Some women were seen trying to pull the men away but to no avail.

Shocked onlooker Christin Novi Marthen who witnessed the brawl said: 'That was too much. They should do that elsewhere.

'Ganging up on him was not fair.'

While the Australian lay on the ground, the Russians were seen continuously kicking him before locals intervened.

Club bouncers were seen helping the Aussie to stand up while the Russian attackers fled the scene.

It was unclear what caused the fight, and no complaint has yet been filed with local police.

There has been a recent spate of misbehaving tourists on the bustling holiday island in Indonesia.

Officials have even taken steps to reign in the chaos following complaints from police and residents about tourists disrespecting the culture, violating traffic rules, committing crimes and behaving badly in public.

Bali and Thailand, specifically Phuket and Pattaya, have become popular destinations for Russians fleeing the conflict between the motherland and Ukraine.
