Walker stranded on cliff rescued by helicopter crew on Laguna Beach
A walker stranded on a cliff was rescued by a helicopter crew in Laguna Beach, California.
Multiple agencies from Orange County joined forces to save the distressed individual, who was stranded precariously above the sand on February 24.
Dramatic footage shows the holidaymaker being airlifted to safety after being picked up from a steep cliff.
The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA) said: 'This dramatic cliffside rescue is a testament to the power of collaboration among safety partners and is just one of the many life-saving missions OCFA Air Operations undertakes.'
The agencies involved included Laguna Beach Fire, the Police Department, Marine Safety, Newport Beach Fire, and OCFA.
