US, Phoenix: Phoenix Man Stabbed in Attempted Robbery

Phoenix, United States - May 16, 2025 05/16/2025 02:39 am GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Per the Phoenix police sergeant at the scene: Phoenix Police responded to initial reports of a stabbing at a Circle K near the 2100 block of North 35th Avenue at approximately 2:39 am. Officers arrived and learned that the stabbing victim left the area traveling north on 35th Avenue in a Lexus sedan. A short time later, officers located the victim parked in his vehicle near the intersection of 35th Avenue and Georgia Avenue near the Grand Canyon University campus. Phoenix police officers quickly responded to the victim's location. Officers rendered aid to an adult male stabbing victim until Phoenix Fire Department crews arrived at the scene. The victim was transported to a local trauma center by Phoenix Fire personnel with serious injuries. According to evidence gathered in the early stages of the investigation, the victim was stabbed during an attempted robbery outside the Circle K near the 2100 block of North 35th Avenue. Detectives have been dispatched to the scene to take command of the investigation.
