US, Los Angeles: Walnut Jackknifed Semi-Truck Crash Closes Lanes On 60 Freeway
Los Angeles, United States - January 20, 2026 01/19/2026 07:31 pm GMT-0800 WALNUT, Calif. – California Highway Patrol officials have closed two right lanes on the westbound 60 Freeway at Fairway Drive in Walnut due to a jackknifed semi-truck that went down an embankment. Heavy-duty tow trucks worked to clear the vehicle. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured in the incident. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. The truck also caused approximately 100 feet of damage to the guardrail along the westbound freeway.
