US, Bakersfield: Compton Overnight ICE Protest Man Arrested With Sound On Tape Part 3
Bakersfield, United States - June 07, 2025 06/07/2025 12:00 pm GMT-0700 Compton – A man was arrested during a ICE Protest in Compton and appeared to have been injured during the arrest. The protest, held in opposition to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), escalated as demonstrators filled the streets and clashed with law enforcement. Projectiles were fired from both the protestors and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which deployed pepper balls and flashbangs in an effort to disperse the crowd. Several businesses in the area were also vandalized during the unrest, and earlier in the day, a car was set on fire as tensions rose. Video captured by KNN shows the man in custody with police as he told his side of the story.
