On June 19, in Zhangjiajie, Hunan, heavy rainfall caused flooding, sweeping away a black dog. In a critical moment, the dog cleverly grabbed a plastic bottle in its mouth to stay afloat as it drifted along the rushing waters.

A woman spotted the dog and quickly picked up a long wooden stick. Standing on the riverbank beneath a bridge, she leaned against a bridge pillar to secure herself while reaching the stick out toward the struggling dog.

Upon seeing the rescue attempt, the dog immediately let go of the plastic bottle and bit onto the stick, ultimately using it to pull itself safely to shore.
