The engineering and medical companies of the 15th Chinese Peacekeeping Forces to the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) provided humanitarian assistance to a hospital in the city of Wau on Tuesday. The Wau Teaching Hospital mainly treats children and female patients. However, due to the area's material shortage and poor conditions, the hospital can only provide limited medical and health supplies to patients. The Chinese peacekeeping forces donated on Tuesday over 800 items in 10 categories including hygiene products and daily necessities to the hospital, effectively improving local medical and health conditions.
