US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Pedestrian Struck Vehicle Flees
Bakersfield, United States - August 09, 2025 08/08/2025 10:21 pm GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – A pedestrian was struck and injured in a hit-and-run crash late Friday night, according to initial reports. Emergency responders from the Bakersfield Fire Department, the Kern County Sheriff's Office, and the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to the area of Feliz Drive and South Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard shortly after 10 p.m. The male victim was transported to a hospital with injuries described as possibly moderate. Witnesses indicate the vehicle involved may have fled the scene on State Route 58 in an unknown direction.
