This is the heartwarming moment Jollibee workers threw an impromptu party for a homeless pensioner.

The staff invited the elderly man, who had been helping customers park their cars outside the branch, to come inside before surprising him with the celebration.

They prepared a bucket of fried chicken and a cake to give him while cheering for him before taking a selfie together.

Customer Quizhia Gotera said: ‘The old man could not stop smiling. It was such a kind and touching gesture from the Jollibee staff.'

One worker gave him a kiss in the cheek and they posed for pictures before handing him the food.

Quizhia added that the pensioner often assists diners with parking their vehicles outside the store.

She said: ‘Sadly, he does not have a house. He is caring for his grandchild, and he comes here rain or shine just to earn a few coins.'
