Bus navigates extreme narrow cliff road after landslide
This is the nerve-wracking moment a bus navigated an extremely narrow cliffside road after a landslide.
Zheind Venice Orolfo and his friends were on their way to meet the world's oldest tattoo artist, Apo Whang-Od, when they faced an heart-stopping journey in Kalinga, the Philippines.
Footage shows the coach carefully manoeuvring along the muddy mountain motorway, driving perilously close to the precipice on August 28.
A road construction worker wearing a helmet and reflective vest can be seen smiling at the travellers as the vehicle wobbles on the uneven surface, seemingly trying to reassure the worried holidaymakers on board.
Zheind said: 'I still cannot believe we managed to climb the mountain. It was a terrifying experience because right beside the road was already a sheer drop.
'We waited for about half an hour while the labourers filled the road with soil so we could pass. At that time, the rain had triggered the landslide.
‘I was amazed by how they managed to temporarily fix the road, though it was frightening at the same time because another landslide could have happened at any moment.'
