This is the moment a resident had to lift her newly purchased 100-inch widescreen TV into her house using a crane after it failed to fit through the stairs.

Homeowner Elna hired a crane operator to help transport the appliance to the second floor of her home in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Footage shows the machine carefully hoisting the television before the operator manoeuvres it towards the balcony on December 17.

Elna said: 'Because we bought such a large TV, the only way to get it inside the house was to use a crane, as our stairs are far too narrow.'
