Due to the boat being hit by high waves while searching for fish, two fishermen from the district of North Lombok oscillated a few hours at sea and just held on to their inverted boat. Both were successfully evacuated by Basarnas Mataram in a state of safety.

Previously, two fishermen namely Muhammad Mujasi and Suhaebi, a resident of Sokong Jukung village, Pemenang subdistrict, searched for fish by boat about 9.5 miles from the beach in the sea area of North Lombok regency.

Head of SAR Mataram, Gusti Anwar Mulyadi, said the long effect in the middle of the sea makes the two fishermen dehydrated. After being evacuated the victim was taken to the Port of Ward for medical treatment and handed over to the family.
