LAKE ELSINORE, CA - Cal Fire responded to reports of a multi vehicle crash with possible parties trapped at the intersections of Hwy 74 and Hammack Ave. Arriving crews located a white kia forte on the side of the road and a black hatchback blocking the roadway, both with major damage. Two occupants were declared deceased on scene by paramedics and another party was transported to a local trauma center with major injuries. According to initial reports, the white Kia and the black hatchback collided head on at high speed and one of the vehicles was possibly travelling wrong way. A third vehicle was also involved but sustained minor to moderate damage. Hwy 74 at Hammack Ave is closed in both directions pending conclusion of the investigation and clearing of the roadway. It's unknown at this time if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash. CHP CAD N 00103
