A herd of elephants playfully engaged with one another while bathing in a water body in Sri Lanka's North Central province on May 5. The incident took place at the Kaudulla National Park.

A video features the elephants bathing in a water body adjacent to the fields. The herd, including infants, munches on the freshly irrigated greens while some of the jumbos take a dip in the waterhole. Later, all the elephants approach the water and slowly submerge their bodies under the surface. They playfully engage with one another, splashing water with their trunks and nuzzling each other.

The elephants continued bathing while the wind kept rustling in the backdrop. Later, the jumbos walked towards the field after a satisfactory dip. Moreover, the herd, including infants, bathed in the region, giving the onlookers a sight to cherish.
