A Railway Protection Force (RPF) official saved a specially-abled man from sliding into the gap between the train and the platform in central India's Madhya Pradesh on June 2. The incident took place at the Bina railway station.

Visuals feature the specially-abled man trying to board a moving train. However, in doing so, his leg slips and slides into the passage between the locomotive and the platform. Upon noticing the man getting dragged along the train, a vigilant RPF official rushes to the spot and helps him up. He pulls the man onto the station and then helps him get on board.

The 55-year-old specially-abled railway employee, identified as Rakesh Puran, was boarding the Jhelum Express from platform number-5 when the incident unfolded. Fortunately, on-duty Sub-Inspector Apoorva Raj's prompt response averted what could have been a fatal accident.
