A passenger had a near-death encounter when he almost fell under a running train in eastern India's Bihar on July 5. The incident took place in Patna.

CCTV footage features the man hurriedly trying to board the moving locomotive in broad daylight at the railway station. Unfortunately, he slips while hopping on and gets hauled along with the running train while he desperately attempts to cling onto the gate to save his life. Within moments, his life fades in front of his eyes as he nearly slides down and falls in the gap between the platform and the moving compartments. Luckily, alert railway cops rush and pull him to safety while a crowd gathers nearby.

In the life-saving deed, the on-duty Railway Protection Force (RPF) constables, Dhanji Singh and Kundan Singh, showed vigilance and rescued the passenger who had almost slid down from the gap between the platform and the moving train while jumping inside its compartment.
