A Maruti van got reduced to ashes amid a street in central India's Madhya Pradesh on October 22. The incident took place in the Kuthla region of Katni.

Visuals feature the van set ablaze. High flames gut the vehicle while dense clouds of dark smoke continuously rise towards the sky and envelop the region. The panic-stricken passengers hurriedly evacuate the van while curious onlookers behold the experience from afar.

The van broke down in the middle of the road, following which a short-circuit triggered the fire when the driver tried to restart the vehicle. There were at least 10 passengers inside, including two minors, who were timely evacuated from the burning van. Moreover, later the fire department arrived at the spot and gained control of the situation, along with the local police.
